Still Waiting - Can't Sleep

We are still waiting to hear about the baby. I'm trying to be calm, but patience has never been my strong suit. Kent on the other hand has patience down. He has been so calm, and I asked him, "How do you do it? Do you just put it out of your mind or what?" He said, "Yeah. I just try not to think about it." He makes it sound so easy. No matter how busy I try to make myself, I can't stop thinking about it. That's why I'm blogging at 2am! I'm all wound up thinking about it!!!

Despite feeling anxious, I have to maintain some normalcy with the girls. They are excited about possibly having a baby in the family, but I try not to talk about it too much since nothing is for sure yet.

The girls did finally get their birthday present from Mummi and Grandpa. Here are some pics:

I'm excited to hear too! But I'm patient like Kent. Are you waiting for the baby to be born and see if the mother does through with it? Is it a boy or a girl?

I pray that you will be blessed with a baby soon (does that mean a day or a year? Who knows.)

How exciting for you guys! I can't wait to hear that you have a new little baby in your family!!

Good luck with figuring out patience. When you find out how, send it my way!

Oh, jealous of the backyard play stuff. Go grandparents. Everything will work out how the Lord intends.. Patience is something I am constantly working on too!

Kim, I had no idea that you were trying to adopt. I went through this with some a life long friend and his wife. It was so trying (sp?) at times...but they ended up with 2 babies, 1-girl and 7 months later a boy!
I will pray for your family and I am sorry that I have never taken the time (or snooped & found your blog) to realize that although you are a perfect pres. you are human and have a "real" life too.
Thanks for always taking a moment to talk or even just smile at me.
Good luck and Best Wishes.....

It looks so warm there! I'm jealous.

I can't wait to hear how this adoption thing turns out. You still haven't said, what brought this all about in the first place??
